What made you go all in on your sport?: After my father introduced me to pole vaulting when I was seven years old, I quickly fell in love with the sport and every year I got a little better and become more and more serious. After jumping 5m for the first time back in 2016 I knew that I could achieve great things in the sport.
What is your greatest moment as an athlete?: I think my greatest achievement as an athlete was overcoming a serious of back injuries in 2015 and 2016. Although the injuries put me out of the sport for a long time I was able to come back better than ever, and got my first international medal at the European U18 Championship in 2016 with a jump of 5.05m.

What made you go all in on your sport?: First of all, I have always loved the sport! Back home when I was around 16, I was surrounded by great people cheering me on and I remember an older kayaker telling me he never regretted making a career out of it, going all in. I felt like this was something I was good at, and so I wanted to become as good as I could possibly get.
What is your greatest moment as an athlete?: It was after I had a race in the World Cup in Hungary this year. My coach waited for me at the dock, telling me I´m going to the Olympics after all. We sat there overwhelmed over the news, crying, while the sky suddenly opened up and buckets of rain fell down on us with roaring thunder. It was a surreal moment.

What made you go all in on your sport?: My twin brother Anders and I have always been riding our bikes, so for us it has just been natural to ride a lot, and we have always enjoyed competing. So, the only natural thing is to race bikes. Now it is our job, and we could not be happier about it!
What is your greatest moment as an athlete?: I think I will have to say Giro de Italia U23 together with my team. First year as a road cyclist, I got a lot of help from my team and especially my twin brother to finish 2nd. The fact that it was a big team effort and that we made the race together is one of my greatest sports moments to date!

What made you go all in on your sport?: The reason why I started diving was because of my parents, this is how they met! My parents did not dive for that long, but eventually started being more involved in the community when me and my other 3 sisters were born. Dad has been my coach since the day I first went to a swimming pool. My mom has always been my mental coach and biggest supporter.
What is your greatest moment as an athlete?: The greatest moment of my diving career was when I qualified for the semi-finals in World cup 2021 in Tokyo, securing a spot for the Olympics for my country! It has not been since the Olympics in Seoul 1988 that we last had a female diver in the Olympics, I got to be that next person, and I am so excited!

My first time entering a championship with Norway I was 26 years old and debutant in a World Championship where I got to play a lot and we got a silver medal. This was a really big experience for me, but my greatest moment was after four years of trying and fighting we won the Euro 2020 and I got my first gold medal with Norway.

What made you go all in on your sport?: I have, as long as I can remember watched the Olympics, and it was a huge moment for me when Olaf Tufte, a Norwegian rowing legend, won his first Olympic gold back in 2004. He inspired me to go forward with rowing. I joined the national team in 2009, and Tufte is still today a big part of the team.

What made you go all in on your sport?: When Helene was looking for a crew, and Lars thought I was a good match. Turned out to be a very good match, and we have now been all on for eight and a half years. Having the best time going through ups and downs, sharing our biggest passion.
What is your greatest moment as an athlete?: The greatest moment as an athlete must have been taking the gold medal in the 2018 European Championship. Helene and I had been so close to fully succeed for a while, and finally managed to pull it off. Best feeling crossing the finish line in the last race of the regatta! Also, so many great moments, as we get to explore and see so much in our sport. Pretty cool to handle all different weather and conditions, and also extremely cool to be able to sail around with Orcas.

What made you go all in on your sport?: I enjoy the painful feeling when you have put in a lot of effort, you want to succeed, you can feel the high pressure, and then you manage to do your job and it ends up as a success. I´m all into details, and I don´t give up.

What made you go all in on your sport?: Alexander Dale Oen won silver in the 2008 Beijing Olympics and was one of the favorites to win gold before the 2012 London Olympics. Tragically, he passed away just a couple months before the start of the Olympics. Alexander was, and still is my biggest idol, and to honor him I want to one day bring the Olympic gold medal home to Norway.
What is your greatest moment as an athlete?: When it got announced on the speakers in the arena during the National Championships this summer that I had got a last-minute spot for the Tokyo Olympics. Later that day I managed to equal the 50m breaststroke national record set by my biggest idol, Alexander Dale Oen during his legendary race in 2011 when he won a gold medal. The arena where I equaled his record is named after him («Alexander Dale One Arena»), and it felt really special to achieve that in front of his home city crowd in the day I got an Olympic spot. Biggest day in my life so far!

What made you go all in on your sport?: After I achieved my medal at the Junior World Champs in 2015, I knew this sport could take me somewhere great. After my breakthrough season as a senior in 2018 I knew investing my time 100 percent in the sport was the right thing to do.
What is your greatest moment as an athlete?: Greatest moment has always been the moments where I've fought back after injury and setbacks to come back stronger. This is especially the case with the medal I one as a junior at the world championship. After a year of setback, I came back and surprised myself! Anything is possible if you dedicate yourself 100 percent to the work needed and want it enough.
